Hi, I am Anna!
I am a whitewater kayaker from Prague, Czechia. Kayaking has been a huge part of my life for nine years already and nothing brings me more joy. I love where it can take you. Big waves. Paddling when it snows. I love it when I send a nice boof (yes it does happen sometimes :D). I love smiling to other kayakers on the river and them smiling back. And there is much more. I did not start as a slalom paddler, but still found my way to whitewater kayaking. I am grateful for the many amazing people I have met on my journey who inspired me, became my friends, and who I could learn from. My goal is to keep getting better at kayaking, as there is so much more to learn, while having a lot of fun and inspiring others to get out on the water too.

Results
My best international result is 4th place at the King of the Alps 2022 extreme kayak championship finals, I qualified from the 10th position for the Ekstremsport Veko World Championships in 2024, and for many years, I have been dominating in local kayakcross and creek boats slalom competitions in Czechia.
However, what I value more than fighting for the race results is showing up at the events, meeting people and sharing experiences, and having a good time with the paddling community.
Europe and beyond
The Alps, Soča Valley, Corsica, or Norway – besides paddling in my home country, I have been travelling for kayaking to many classic destinations around Europe, from countless weeks and weekend trips to Austria, visiting France and Switzerland, coming to the Passer Valley in Italy every year, to catching some rain in Wales and Scotland, or spending whole summer in Norway.
Realising a kayaking trip to Ecuador and having spent a month of paddling multidays in Himalayas in Nepal were simply dreams coming true. And there are many more!
