Hi, I am Anna!
I am a whitewater kayaker from Prague, Czechia. Kayaking has been a huge part of my life for eight years already and nothing brings me more joy. I love where it can take you. Big waves. Paddling when it snows. I love it when I send a nice boof (yes it does happen sometimes :D). I love smiling to other kayakers on the river and them smiling back. And there is much more. I did not start as a slalom paddler, but still found my way to whitewater kayaking. I am grateful for the many amazing people I have met on my journey who inspired me, became my friends, and who I could learn from. Lately, I am trying to get more into class 5 whitewater and explore new rivers and places as often as I can.
Between my travels, I offer individual kayak lessons↗ on the slalom course in Prague Troja.
Results
My best international result is 4th place at the King of the Alps 2022 extreme kayak championship. Currently (12/2023) I am ranked 7th in the AWP – Association Whitewater Professionals world ranking.
I have also won many medals at local kayakcross and creek boats slalom competitions in Czechia.
Travels
Besides most of the Czech classics, I have already paddled on rivers in many classic European destinations including the Swiss, Italian and French Alps, Corsica, Soča Valley, Austria, and Norway, where I’ve even spent whole summer. The greatest experience and my very first overseas trip was kayaking in Ecuador, and since then I’m already planning how to get back to South America or where to go next. So let’s see!

Travels

I love travelling and I am doing my best to be able to do even more of it in the future. Also, many overseas trips are still on my list and hopefully soon I will start realizing them too.
